The Morrigan, god of battle and fate

The Morrigan is perhaps the most misunderstood god. She is generally regarded as evil. Most people only remember the battles and the carnage that is left in her wake. They don't understand that she does this only to protect what is hers. The second part of her domain, fate, is often forgotten. She maintains and controls the weave of fate upon reality.

The Morrigan generally appears as one of three forms: a young maiden, a middle aged woman, and an old crone. Known respectively as the Maid, the Queen, and the Mother. These represent the three stages of life.

She has also been known to appear as a raven. This is seen as a harbinger of woe, as war and death frequently follow.

Thor and Diancecht are her closest allies. Thor because of his love of fighting, and Diancecht's desire to protect. She has no direct enemies among the gods, save perhaps Tiamat, whom she disdains for trying to take from her. She also hates Vecna for his attempt to take control of fate from her.
