Mech

Mechs are cybernetically-enhanced humans. They are born like humans as we know them today but then over the course of their lives they undergo elective procedures where their natural human bodies are modified to become more and more machine. There is a wide range of mechs from lightly-modified to those who no longer look human at all. Each cybernetic mod serves a different purpose for its host. Mechs make up the majority of the inhabitants of Earth and are considered a respected citizenship.
