Mnemonic (neh-MAHN-ihk)
Like all Savants, Mnemonics hold all the memories of their ancestors but unlike other Savants, they can access these memories whenever they want to without any trigger. They also have access to the Forbidden Memories, though it takes them time to access them.
Mnemonics must be awakened by viewing the Insignia. Once that happens, all the memories of their ancestors flood their consciousness and they have to train themselves to first "re-encapsulate" all the Memories and second, sort through and transcribe them. This second step can take the better part of of a Mnemonics lifetime. Usually, Mnemonics keep a journal or computer with them at all times so they can write down what they've learned.
They are considered the most dangerous Savants by The Triumvirate because they have access to secret knowledge that the government wants forgotten. Thus, their existence is closely guarded even from their own people (Savants).
