Issue Eight: Creation and Destruction

A month since the events surrounding Eli, the team are busy gathering at Halcyon Plaza, where heroes and civilians alike take time to remember those who fell in the attack six months ago. With the plaza rebuilt Rocket says a few words, encouraging the crowd to remain hopeful. Afterwards they depart to a bar, meeting a fellow hero, a young woman known as Cygnus. She takes a liking to First of May and dedides to stick around, having fun alongside the team. She departs, telling May she'd like to see them again.
The next day the team is rudely awoken as they face two problems: An unknown metahuman causing destruction in Shoretown, and a flight from the halfway house, a villain looking to go back to crime. At their mother's request, Cora chases after the runaway, while No_Clip and Rocket face this new villain.
It turns out to be someone calling themselves the Troll, a brute with hardened blue skin and immense toughness. They battle him into a retreat, though not before his rampage destabilizes a building, sending the team into rescue mode. They manage to avoid causualites, though No_Clip is crushed by rubble. As she phases through the rubble she's suprised to see a familiar face: Charlie. While they now work together as civilians, she hasn't seen him as No_Clip since their fight.
Meanwhile, First of May manages to locate Daniela Santana, known as La Espada. She seems to appreciate the gesture, but states she needs to continue providing for her family in the only way she knows. She flees, telling them not to follow.
