Amros

Amros was the parriarch of the Silver Dragonflight during The Silver War. He aligned the flight with the elves - in particular, with Delos'Nordan - so as to defeat the other dragons, led by the Black Dragonflight, which sought to wipe out all of life on Eashavar. Amros disappeared mysteriously as victory seemed certain, leading to a mutual betrayal and the near-extermination of the Silver Dragonflight by elven hands. To this day, however, Delos'Nordan holds Amros as a national symbol.
Amros' motivations to preserve life are unclear, and there was much infighting among the flight even before his disappearance. Dragons are, after all, driven to hate all other beings, regardless of their color. The flights had long fought amongst themselves, but unity behind the powerful Black was viewed as an obvious choice while the elves were wrought by great disasters. Whatever his reasons, they are now lost.
