Eltondorf Triangle

The Eltondorf Triangle is a region within the Sea of Tears which is roughly triangulated by Alhesdaf, Eltondorf, and the Bay of Phrax. It is a notoriously steady region of the Sea of Tears, which makes the large amount of ships that go missing within its borders all the stranger.
Many rumors exist about the Eltondorf Triangle, including that it may be the resting place of Ammon-Kul himself. In reality, the Eltondorf Triangle lies on a confluence of streams and winds which make it prone to sudden destructive storms that fade out as quickly as they come. The region is indeed relatively calm compared to the Sea of Tears - but when it is not silent, it roars like a lion.
