Description
Feyfolk is a cultural designator typically used to describe the way of life attributed primarily to Birdfolk, Catfolk, Foxfolk, and Gnomes. Faun are typically
Grove-Guardians, while Mousefolk, Pompups, and Cowfolk are more prone to integrating into other cultures. This does not exclude other Fey (or even other races) from having Feyfolk culture; it's simply a descriptive statement about the average members of a race. Some Fey also fit
Grove-Guardians better than Feyfolk culture, especially those who more actively guard the wilds from transgression.
Feyfolk culture is characterized by the cooperation of peoples in small communities, typically in wild or rural areas. These communities take care of their own, functionally adopt some form of pantheism, and remain open to aiding and trading with outsiders, as well as the acceptance of others into their community if they are willing to put in a good faith effort. They are often distrusting of urbanization, organized governments and hierarchies, and those who seek to exploit nature.
