"Gult" is a general categorical term for the primary founding tribes of
The Protectorate-Commonwealth. It is today used to refer to the cultures present with the Protectorate-Commonwealth, rather than the actual tribes. The Gults largely share a culture, but have minor distinctions and prejudices based on their specific place of origin. The Gults include the following subcultures:
- Dachsgult
- Gransgult
- Weitgult
- Weyhegult
- Attengult
- Clausengult
- Steinegult
- Waldengult
- Hostergult
- The Essnevgult
As Old Faith tribes, the Gults don't exist in any significant proportion anymore. They have virtually all been integrated into the society of one of the Protectorate-Commonwealth's vassals, especially since the increased centralization of said state. Most tribal Gults have come to identify more with the modern-day
Sygultaz, which are a pseudo-tribe that encompasses various stateless peoples within the Protectorate-Commonwealth.
