Description
A game of Kegs involves rolling and tossing a keg, typically inside a sparse tavern or in a stable house, with the goal of placing it upon an opponent's shelf. It requires two opposite-facing shelves and a keg, and typically eight players with four on either team. The amount of points one gets for tossing the keg onto a shelf depends on its height, which in turn depends on the number of levels that the shelf has. If ale is spilled, then the team loses a point, and if a player falls over without being pushed or punched, the team also loses one point - points can go negative. A typical game takes about thirty minutes, with exponential increase as players get more drunk; this is because players are allowed to drink from a keg to reduce its weight. Contact is allowed, and often encouraged, resulting in rowdy games and frequent brawls.
