Kimble Cream

Kimble is a weed that grows commonly in the forests and jungles of Pharos. It contains a milky substance within it which can be combined with milk and water to form a special cream. This cream doesn't typically have a strong flavor, though it has extremely mild anesthetic properties. Kimble Cream is used in small amounts to reduce the flavor of food that may be over-spiced, too hot, or otherwise unpalatable. Some people enjoy the numbing feeling of Kimble Cream and add it to foods that have no such faults, and it is one of the ingredients in Fizz. The numbness typically goes away within the hour, and it is never strong enough to remove one's ability to use their tongue or jaw.
Allergy to Kimble Cream is common among Elves, as well as among cultures used to hot spices. Allergic symptoms include an amplification of the numbing feeling, a feeling of numbness in the throat and stomach, and the inability to (or dulling of the ability to) smell. These symptoms typically fade within a day.
