Kinemite

Standard Kinemite

Kinemite consists of a compact block of blackpowder, packaged into an inflammable material (typically thin sheets of soft metal), with a long fuse at one end that acts as a timer when lit at the end. Kinemite is typically produced with timers of 30-300 seconds, though environmental conditions and production errors can vary this period. When the fuse finishes burning, it ignites the blackpowder within, resulting in an instantaneous explosion that can shatter mountains and leave craters in the ground.

Minamite

Minamite is a minimal version of kinemite, typically used in the production of firecrackers, fireworks, and, when used en masse, the propulsion of artillery and rockets, such as on the Rocket-Ship. Minamite dilutes blackpowder with sand or loose granulated dirt. With less blackpowder, and a packed obstruction, the explosive force is greater inward than outward, and allows direction of an object along a specified trajectory (e.g., upwards). When used to make fireworks, the propelled object typically contains flammable material which glows in various colors, and contains further minamite to explode as it heats while on its path towards the sky. Minamite fireworks often leave behind shattered, but colorful, glass from the heated sand, which is a favorite trinket among children.

Arcanokinemite

Arcanokinemite makes use of redpowder, a rarer form of blackpowder with etheric properties. Redpowder can also be synthesized by some expert alchemists and wizards, though this can be even more difficult to find. Arcanokinemite functions very similarly to standard kinemite, though its explosion additionally causes magical effects, potentially making the explosion larger or more dangerous. Arcanokinemite is highly unstable, and brings about the effects of the Warp up to multiple times, depending on its explosions length and extent.
