Modifications
A Mesmer is a generalization of the Bard class. A Mesmer need not play music, and any elements of the Bard class which require music may be replaced by a performance more apt to your chosen tradition of magical practice. More generally, then, the Mesmer represents a class which uses magic to sway those around it - friend and foe - to their will.
World-Specific Information
Mesmers practice magic. Typically, they are
Witch-Marked, but they may also practice the infusive traditions of
Dervishry or
Lyristry. See
