Paper Dragon

The Paper Dragon was an attempt at building a flying machine by the self-titled Inventress Talia Idalgo. It was sponsored by The Crimson Aphorites, and was meant to serve The Protectorate-Commonwealth. It continues to be worked on, but has grown to an untenable size, and the central part remains too heavy. In practice, it is meant to carry about twelve people.
The Paper Dragon consists of a central metal frame in which occupants ride, with leathered wings extending to both sides from this center and an engine on its underside. The far back has fins to help stabilize the contraption in the air, though it does not have wheels and is not meant to travel on land (unlike the Hornet). Contrarily, the Paper Dragon is meant to begin its flight from steady waters.
