Terraces of Vestal

The Terraces of Vestal are man-made steps in the hills of the central Sacred Valley, in which primarily rice is grown. The sheer number and vastness of the terraces is stunning to newcomers, and they've become something of a wonder within the world. The Vestali attribute the results of the terraces to two deities: Jeth and Vyr. This is partly because the Sacred Valley has long suffered from the effects of the Warp and, while it is constantly raining, crops always appear to be on the verge of drought. On most years, they pull through; on others, the priesthood of Vyr is appealed to for next year and alternate methods of food must be accounted for.
