The Rubiora

Description

The Rubiora is the holy book of Nenzus and Orovas, the two knower-gods. While they are quite distinct, both are viewed as quite wise, in differing ways. The book is primarily an indirect dialogue between the two, written in Seraphic but not easily comprehensible even to the literate. It is said that the most talented of wizards are capable of reading its writings, but that it may also be revealed to those that fate decides are worthy. Within it, it is believed, are contained all spellbooks' mantras.   The Rubiora also has minor passages about Maer, which are of value to her followers, as Orovas seeks to guide her from afar from the clutches of Nenzus. These are among the passages which are more legible and widely available, but other writings are also proliferated, most without significant insight. The Rubiora itself is quite rare, and no translation exists - or, perhaps, is even possible.
