Volgrim
Volgrim if the Star-Wolf, one of the Ones Around and the patron deity of the Althrics and Kolbecs. He is revered in an almost personal way by his followers, a fact which is odd because he is a very impersonal god. Volgrim, in fact, has no tendencies towards a moral or ethical compass, nor any beliefs about his followers should act, so long as they revere him. He protects them as his children, and they howl and hunt in his name in exchange.
Volgrim's symbolism is seen in stars, in wolves, and in lightning. The ancient tribes believed stars and lightning to be manifestations of the same phenomenon, hence the association. He is sometimes associated with Llelles, though the two have no official connection aside from sometimes sharing followers.
The Styolbecs also worship Volgrim as a minor deity, though they represent him as a coyote instead of a wolf, and their ceremonies in his honor involve yipping rather than howling.
