The Forswar, sometimes spelled the Fors War, was a series of conflict between the newly-unified Protectorate-Commonwealth and the city-states of The Forsmarch.
Before the unification of the commonwealth, distinctions were rarely drawn between these two regions, though the Forsmarch had a generally distinct culture from the majority-Gultic Commonwealth and sought to retain its independence from any attempts at federation.
