The horse-lords of Yr Zaral had long begun to settle and establish farms, but this process was expedited by First-Khan Gagakh Zaral. The First-Khan willed Yr Zaral to become an independent state - one with industry and prestige that rivaled its neighbors and rose above the world.
All Uzbari were mandated to establish permanent homes in the region or they would face expulsion, and thus Zaral was founded.
