Today was the first time I went outside the barrier. It was to assist my friend Narxixxos on his quest to find a dragon he believed to be residing on the north of Vareholm. Shinjitsu, a monk who came to Vareholm a few days ago also accompanied us.   At first, our journey was pretty uneventful. We reached a field of some sort of glowing plantation. An old man was guarding it and pointed us to a lake when we asked if he had any knowledge of the dragons. After going a bit further, we ran into some skeletons in the woods. We managed to deal with them fairly quickly and moved forward. After an hour journey, we reached an abandoned village. There we ran into another Dragonborn that goes by the name "Morsein". He handed Narxixxos a goblet filled with platinum coins and a black card before leaving. After that, we ran into hoards of undead and got ambushed by Lizardfolk. While Narxixxos ran into the middle of the enemy and took their full brunt, Shinjitsu used his incredible agility to take them down while avoiding their attacks. I assisted by attacking them with my spells from a distance.   But it was only a matter of time before we took massive hits.   Shinjitsu went down. I managed to stabilize him while Narxixxos held the enemy at bay but, soon, some being who goes by the name "Kacz" and a massive 4-armed creature showed up. We knew we had no chance against them. We were all hurt and exhausted from the previous battles. Narxixxos faced the two creatures head on and told me to take the unconscious monk and leave.   I did what he said.   I hoisted Shinjitsu on my shoulders and ran while Narxixxos bravely faced what was certain death. My journey back to Vareholm was tense and long. I noticed many ravens started to follow us as I ran as fast as I could. Soon, I ran into a fork in the road but one was blocked by hundreds of ravens. I ran to the other road, not wanting to risk anything at this point. But, as I was leaving, I heard laughter....dark and cold... So I quickened my pace. After a while, Shinjitsu woke up and we started to Vareholm once again.   But that's not the end of the journey. After a while the black card appeared in the monk's hand. When I held it, I got a sense of tremendous dread but, as quickly as it appeared, it disappeared. After that, we finally reached Vareholm. But I don't think this is the end of whatever we encountered out there and I won't let the sacrifice of my friend be in vain.
