Personal history

Faedon Tashkil trained hard for a moment like this for much of his life. From an early age Faedon pestered his adoptive father for an apprenticeship, a chance to prove him self and worth. Countless days and nights of work to be as much of a skilled and well rounded craftsman as his master. With ever scrape, cut, callus and burn he'd show that while he may not have the years of his master, Faedon possessed the skill and drive to leave his own impact on his world. Now with Idriell calling and his master too battered and old for even the journey, Faedon is sent in his place to help shore up defenses, aid in assessments and be readily on call.
To be fair though, that is not the only reason Faedon has to look forward to this new path in his life. When he found his birth father's note years back they had mentioned Idriell. The potential magics there and a piece of which they had gotten their hands on and used...for Faedon. The final gift of his birth father: the "Shaper's Mark".
