Minister Tyrael Yllaris is one of the few mortals that enacts the will of the One of Old, Ao. Unlike clerics or priests devoted to other gods, the clergy under Ao are referred to as "Ministers" as they impartially ensure that the gods stayed within their portfolios. The Ministers of Ao are aloof, only choosing to act when it serves the Overgod.
