Iolas Brywynn was once an unlanded elf, one of a handful of Elves, looking for a place to call their own. They had landed on the shores of Idriell from an unknown place, and found a barren land, devoid of all life - as if a great Cataclysm had befallen it. Without a world to go back to, they set up work creating a home. With magic, they were able to forge a meagre life, though lifeless and without sustenance. Though crawling along rock bottom, looking for scraps, Iolas believed he was worth more than his allies. He believed he was the smartest, the bravest, the most cunning of all of the Oshran Tribes. Late at night, he confided in his friend, Pikyr the Hungry, of his true desire. Pikyr thought it was time to sow new seeds.
Iolas died at the hands of Silvaria Brightwood, when the Oshran Empire was falling to wars on all fronts. The Umbral Court claimed his soul for being corrupted by Shothotugg, overseeing a nation-wide service of an Elder Evil.
