Legend Lore: Khyrmin Eilwenys, the Moon Prophet
Khyrmin was once an ordinary Citizen of the Oshran Empire, who stumbled into the History Books when they discovered and spread the Sacred Texts of El-Ren. Being the first to encounter the ancient Ziggurat of the Distant One, Khyrmin felt destined to spread the messages and designs he witnessed - and so became the first Moon Prophet. Over the course of his lives, Khyrmin helped find other mysterious structures of the Distant One so that the full machinations of her Will could be established in the Material Plane.
“I wish I knew how to read this.”Khymin Eilwenys was once an ordinary archeologist in the Oshran Empire. He stumbled into local and national notoriety when they came across the first Ziggurat of Shothotugg, then called ‘the Distant One’. He poured days, weeks and long years into attempting to translate and enter the Ziggurat to no avail. Convinced that the markings on the outside of the Ziggurat were some sort of coded language, he brought in fellow experts in the field. Though they had never spoken before, he reached out to Pikyr the Prehistorian. In their messages, Khyrmin asked for assistance in breaking the code of the Ziggurat. Pikyr was eager to find an assistant for his schemes. Khyrmin read the manuscript on the face of the Ziggurat - and was amazed at what he saw. Reading the phrase ‘Shothotugg’ by sight burnt the sigil onto his chest; and he was delighted. He offered to share this gift with Pikyr, but he had already left. No matter. Khymin entered the Ziggurat, and found manuscripts, lore, black tablets and more. It was here that Shothotugg spoke to Khyrmin, revealing to him the shape of the Far Sky, and where the weaknesses in the two realities were. Khyrmin became the first Moon Prophet, dedicating his life to spreading the good word of the Distant One, helping find the other mysterious Ziggurats and Monoliths that appeared through Idriell, so that the machinations of Shothotugg could be established in the Material Plane. Khyrmi Eilwenys’ undead body was eventually slain, and the Umbral Court claimed his soul for the crime of possessing the Forbidden Knowledge of how to summon an Elder Evil to the Material Plane.
“Then let’s decipher it together.”
