Legend Lore: Petrified Doppelganger Heart

The still-beating heart of a slain Intermediate Doppelganger betrays its nature. The offspring of an Advanced Doppelganger often produces a lesser version of itself, resulting in an Intermediate Doppelganger. Still able to change its form, but with a more limited range. To serve their mother, they soak in the vibrations of what happens in their immediate vicinity, along with the names, shapes and abilities of creatures they can detect.
