Legend Lore: Pinion
The farmer feels joy as she harvests her crop,
And the day she sewed told her when to harvest,
And the temper of the rain told her when to sew,
And the flux of the wind told the rain to fall,
And the warp of the land told the wind to blow,
And the press of time told the land to bend,
And Pinion so watches, and Pinion so knows
In gear, sprocket, chain, and pulley,
Each temper, each flux, each warp, and each press,
And so Pinion knows when the farmer will feel joy.
