The Astral Cutter
The Astral Cutter is a 130-foot-long by 20-foot-wide galley equipped with a battering ram, two ballistae, eight arcane cannons, a full crew of 40 sailors, and a very unique helm. The ship is designed to use the Astral Sea in order to teleport to any plane of existence. She was altered into her current incarnation primarily by Kobolds, but a few Gith-inspired modifications have enabled her captain to utilize psionics to reach top speeds of 80 feet per round in both the Astral Sea and outer space. She can only reach a maximum of 50 feet per round when in water, with full sails. Contrary to the expectations of many, she cannot fly. She can only be manipulated to seem as though she’s flying in spacious vacuums. When in conditions that lack breathable air, the ship will generate her own atmosphere, which can last up to three days.
Both the ballistae and arcane cannons have stores of specialized ammunition, in addition to mundane, able to mimic some spell effects. Unfortunately, these stores are not unlimited, and the crew is constantly on the lookout for more. The ship’s ram is another unique piece of equipment that, upon impact, is capable of generating the effects of the Astral Plane’s psychic winds.
The deck of The Astral Cutter resembles most galleys with the exception of the extra sails, but she is actually a literal Kobold nest. Below is a veritable ant’s hill of chutes and ladders. The fact that it is their actual home gives the crew, made mostly of Kobolds, a greater desire to protect her than other sorts of sailors. In the event that her captain and first mate adjourn from the ship to pursue adventure, the remaining crew has the knowledge and ability to use her teleportation capabilities on their own, but they cannot use the ship to her full potential without the captain.

Grygron "Gary" Grimcrag (First Mate)
Orthan Khadras (Bosun)
Vargas Dugal (Quartermaster)

After having been snapped into pieces by a void-faring creature, she crash-landed in the water outside of Vareholm and spent many months in repair. Afterwards, Captain Dreadscale set out to obtain a battery for the astral teleportation system in the form of an enormous Bronze Dragon trapped on the Astral Plane. The conclusion of the voyage was a successfully charged teleporter, but the captain was also sucked into the ship. This was when Ruga inherited her, being the only one present at the time qualified to captain a vessel, and the only one wearing the hat for it.
