Luco's Tear

Luco's Tear is a small rose-like plant. It's got its name from an old legend that tells that one day a young orc named Luco was driven to tears by the atrocities inflicted on his tribe by a group of human and elves. It was said that Luco shed his tears not only for his lost family but for the souls of those who committed such horribles acts. The area in which he resided had a high background magic level, possibly even chaotic level. Where his tears landed in the fertile soil, rose like flowers grew.
It is said that those who inhale the aroma of Lucas tear can find themselves calmed and acts of aggression are lessened. Over the centuries, this became a tradition that in certain places, having Luca's Tears as a centre point on a table during negotiations signified that the one placing it there knows talks will be aggressive, but hopes for a peaceful solution.

Anatomy

Very similar to the standard rose, but with a light blue series of petals.

Biological Traits

Those in the presence of Luca's Tear find aggression levels reduced. It doesn't remove it completely but does help to dampen hostility levels. one bunch of a dozen flowers is enough to help reduce aggression for any creature within 30 feet. Those who have an olfactory issue are immune to this effect. Those who suffer from hayfever or other flower-based allergies feel the effect with more potency.

Genetics and Reproduction

Same as other flowers - seeds and pollen etc. Has been known to spring up in places of major aggression or wars, but botanists believe it is not a spontanues generation but seeds lying dormant until awakened.

Growth Rate & Stages

This plant grows like a normal rose, but rumours persist that in areas of high aggression it grows faster.

Can grow anywhere a normal rose can grow, but seems to thrive and grow faster in areas known for wars and agression
