Personal history

Was originally a warlock of Grym, Kaidra's parents accidentally wandered into the feywild and Grym found them, offered them passage home in exchange for the soul of their first born. When Kaidra turned 18, Grym's power began to awaken. He was a passenger in his own body as he went around slaughtering everyone in the village. When he came to, Grym was floating above him and told him that Kaidra's soul belonged to him now. And that he wasn't to talk about this incident or else there would be *consequences*.
Years pass as Kaidra tries to find somewhere else to call home and get his life together again, he meets Mako, another half elf man. The two fall in love and eventually Kaidra decides to tell him about the tragic incident. But those consequences Grym refused to elaborate on meant that Kaidra's body moved on it's own again and soon Mako lay dead on the floor.
After going on a pilgrimage to get him back and achieving godhood along with it, he decided to go and put and end to Grym's torment himself and killed his old patron.

Was successful in both his pilgrimage and his killing of his old patron, and has been successful in saving a number of souls from an untimely demise

Failures & Embarrassments

Unfortunately the success of saving a few souls from an untimely demise also resulted in him being a wanted man and now he's under a very strict contract with The Raven Queen and if he ever sets even a wingtip back into that 3.5 universe, he will be obliterated on sight.

Mental Trauma

Getting possessed and killing his whole village, getting possessed and killing his lover, a few near death experiences of his own, guilt of fleeing a god war in his original universe, is now very over-cautious about dealings with souls because past consequences.

Taboos

Less of a personal taboo and more of an over-caution but DO NOT do anything explicitly against The Raven's Queen's terms. Finding loopholes to get what you want, sure, but unless you can find that loophole, DO NOT FUCK AROUND. YOU WILL FIND OUT.

Minor deity (essentially an archfey but on god level) Used to be a normal half elf before Plot Things Happened and he was given god powers. He's used these powers to save a few souls and take them to a safer place. However taking these souls from their original home doesn't exactly go over well with the people in charge there. So he's very much a wanted man for soul-thieving crimes. The Raven Queen has made an agreement with him that she'll harbor him in her universe as long as he adheres to a very strict contract. Given his past track record, he was obviously the first one accused when people's souls started getting stolen. He's determined to prove his innocence, but he's gonna need some help to do it A bit eccentric in his own way, likes tea, glittery things, and meddling in things he probably shouldn't be meddling in. He's taken in a few young girls as their warlock patrons, but in order to be a Kaidra warlock, you kinda have to become a magical girl. Not that they mind, really.
