Mental Shielding

One of the Psion's most coveted powers, Mind shielding protects them from magic cast using the element Ether, and any other form of intrusion into the mind. Two levels of power exist with this spell, Minor and Major

Minor

The Minor effect of this power protects the Psion from glamours that would otherwise deceive them and minor spells that could read his mind. The Psion can defend against intrusion for a couple minutes until they need to reinforce the power, taking their full concentration.

Major

The Major effect of this power works as above but adds an additional effect against spells that would otherwise control them, or even change reality. The Psion with Major power can withstand intrusion for hours, only needing to reinforce this with a quick action while still fighting.

Effect

The Psion raises a mental shield to protect himself against intrusion or deception.
