Mystvale Institute of Learning
The Mystvale Institute of Learning is a massive college in the city of Everloom, in the nation of Anor. The building sits on the lakeside of the city and is connected to the powerful watermills under the dam. These help run all of the power needed for the experiments to the classrooms and workshops. There are currently 20 professors working here, teaching a variety of subjects from Mathematics, to Engineering, or even Diplomacy. The white columned courts make it easy to reach the various levels of the workshops and classrooms here, and allow for ventilation as well.

Purpose / Function
This building serves a very specific purpose. Education of the masses. This Institute teaching the up and coming students of our age how to be better and build us a future, wether that is in inventing things to help us live better, or knowing the right things to say in court to avoid conflict.
Architecture
The building itself is a work of art. Built from many styles, this buildings architecture is a mix of elven, dwarven, and human ingenuity. Why the mix of styles? The students helped build it of course! Over the years when anything needs to be fixed, the Institute goes to the students in design and engineering and lets them rework any problems. The result is an ever changing structure pleasing to the eye.
History
Started after the Great War, this institute was a collective idea from two scholars that survived the fighting. Marcus Vale was a human scholar that helped with the defense of Katania, the northern most city in Anor. He had an idea that if there was a central location for a massive school, that the best minds could share their knowledge together. Mystal Shaelara was a beautiful magus from Syll who helped write and propose the treaty that ended the war, she belived that if the races could learn side by side, that they would better understand each other. A year and a half later Mystvale was born.
The only way we can climb out of our barbaric ways and move forward is with generalizd thinking and study - The Archmagus Salen
Why no magic classes?
Interestingly enough, there are no classesin magic as yet provided in the ciriculum at Mystvale, though there are negotiations with the Archmagus in Syll. Since it is racialy resricted to elven blood, they feel that the open ciriculum would suffer jealousy at the hands of people that do not have that factor.Remove these ads.
