Nym

The city of Nym, capitol of Reverie, is the largest city of faeries in this dimensional realm. It is here in this forest city that the faeries came to so they could rebuild all those years ago. The City is located next to the Great Tree, closest to the center in this revolving circle of villages. Thousands of faeries flitter about from their abodes and parties to more dwellings and gatherings, spending their days in carefree bliss.

Demographics

The population of Nym is 100% faerie, broken down by the different types of faeries. The varying types are too many and fluctuating to accurately record though, as no one has ever tried.

Government

Nym is ruled by a Queen that is chosen and raised by the current Queen. This "successor" is formally named in a ritual Revel and then named formally as the next Queen. Years will go by in their training and sometimes they stay that way for decades or even centuries. The named successor can be grieved against, but only if they have caused a calamity in the nation and have been voted against by the current Queen.

Defences

The city of Nym might be faeries, yet they still have warriors. Brave Satyr's with spears, Korreds with vine whips, and even sprites with Glamours can rise up and defend their city if need be. they will never be taken as slaves again, preferring the long sleep to being used for destruction again.

Infrastructure

For faerie kind they are actually a bit advanced. this is due in part to an old visitor many decades ago that seemed to have wandered in and stayed until his demise years later. he helped them form roads and small buildings built out of mushrooms and other things in the forest.

History

This was the first large settlement that the faeries rebuilt after Star fall. They came here, back when it was in the Forest of Nym, and started over again. Once it was shifted to the other realm, the city became a bastion of the faeries, being the local place that they all came to when they needed anything. Over the long years, it has grown into a thriving hub of dances, parties, and song.

Geography

The geography of this realm is strange, never really getting cold and always being stuck in the Riverswell months. The forest around Nym is full of vibrant trees and bushes, with beautiful colors and leaves of different sorts.

Faeries and Time

If you haven't seen by now, time doesn't seem to affect faeries like it does the other races. They can live for centuries, never really aging as they go about their care free lives of dancing and parties. This is due in part to them being actual creatures of magic (like dragons), especially when they gather in one place for long periods of time. With the high concentration of faeries in one place for all of this time, the realm changed the very fabric of time. When someone else comes here and visits, one day is like a year in the real world, even one hour is like a tenday here, and stories of faeries capturing children and returning them as adults probably attribute to this phenomenon.
