Vainilenaryl, or Vain is a green dragon that lives in the Nym Forest. This dragon stays here because of a promise to the faeries when they departed this world, and he holds it to this day. He is a quiet dragon, preferring the quiet of the forest and the solitude of the trees. He hasn't seen anyone other than the forest animals in decades and would relish company that he didn't have to scare away or otherwise frighten.

Crystal green scales that are starting to darken in the slightest bit, finally showing his age.

Special abilities

Dragon Flame

The breath attack of a dragon is a highly concentrated burst of flame that they breathe out in a 20 foot cone. This flame builds in their gullet over time and usually can be used two or three times in a long battle. This flame will catch any flammable items on fire, so they rarely use it in a forested area unless it is life or death.

Personal history

Vainilenaryl has been at the core of Tamia's history since his birth. He grew up with faeries all around him and was devastated when they were used by the elves for such warlike purpose. He had never been the violent type, but after the faeries had escaped he vowed revenge on their behalf. The faeries found him in Nym Forest before they worked their spell of Vanishing and asked him to guard their forest for them. He grudgingly accepted.

The most surprising aspect of a dragon's breath is that they can use it to heal themselves faster than they already do. They build up the charge in their gullet as normal, but release it inside themselves, letting the fire burn through their bodies healing them of disease and harm.
