Village of Angran

The village of Angran, on the island of Boltusk is an important industrial village in the Shards. This village processes the Spidersilk made into clothing, armor, and even tools across all of the Shards. One would think that a huge industry such as this would've been moved to the larger city by now, but the family that discovered the process refused to move. The Warlord Gromtar visited decades ago before he perished and conceded to the family that they stay here in their village. They were given the necessary equipment to produce more at a time, and even allotted more slaves than a usual industry.

The Rendhan Spinners

The Rendhan family takes the raw spidersilk and spins it under a small heat into usable bails to be shipped all over the Shards. This process has been tried by others and it never comes out right for some reason. This points to a secret ingredient or process that has never been told, and has led to the use of spies and even sabotage. because of that the guards that are hired to protect the Rendhan factory are quite ready for violence.

The village runs a 60% Gralen orc population versus Grenlen

Government

The Tusk reports to the Lord Slaver in the major city, who answers to the warlord.

Industry & Trade

This village is famous for the Rendhan Manufacturing plant that turns the raw spidersilk into a usable commodity. They spin the silk into bails and ship them all over the Shards.

History

The settlement was a tiny nothing of a village until about forty years ago. The orc tracker Fargeth Rendhan braved the spider woods and came out riding the first tamed Giant Spider. Once he saw that the first sample of spidersilk might be woven into a stronger rope, his life changed forever.

Geography

The village is situated right beside a humid forest, known for its Giant Spider activity, and It lays in high grasslands.

Natural Resources

Not only does this village process Spidersilk, but they also train the Giant Spider for beasts of burden. They don't keep a lot of them at one time, but they do keep a couple at a time for training. They are then moved to the major city of Congar.
