An account of when the continents were changed irrevocably by the fall of stars from the heavens. This reset the roll of years for everyone and after this event the adoptive SF (Star Fall) is used to record the years

In the beginning, Tamia was a continent covered in lush forests, dotted by mountain spurs. It was mainly inhabited by faeries and other sylvan folk, but when the stars fell, their lives were changed forever. Great balls of rock, aflame and moving at great speed came crashing down out of the dark night skies, hitting the sea and causing great waves to crash upon the island continent of Tamia. Then in the wake of that, the largest one hit the center of the forest, causing much of the land to sink and burning much of the forest around it. This created the Land drop and the Falls, as well as Crystal Lake, named because of the odd rock formations that were found near the impact site by faeries. Their population decimated by the floods and the fires, the faeries retreated to their capitol of Nym and rebuilt; but theirs wasn't the only land to feel the impact from the skies. The main continent of this world was hit the hardest, some say because the Gods above found them intolerable and couldn't take their insolence any longer. Others say that Dava, God of healing had been slain by his wicked brother Kris. Regardless of the why, refugee's came to Tamia from the seas and fractured lands and the fist humans, elves and dwarves set foot on the lands abandoned by the faeries.
