Angel

In order to defeat the powerful demons and their Gandor leader Celian Maleficium, the godesses Xelene and Randia created the angels. The were equal in Power to the nevaelyth and contrasted the demons, bringing light and hope rather than death, destruction and fear. The lead three wars against the gandor and her demon army until the gods decided to take matters into their own hands and imprison demonkind. Ever since more angels were created in order to watch over the fiendish creatures and protect the Realm of the Living so evil of that kind will ever rise again.
Angels are rarely witnessed by mortals, though sometimes they disguise as humans and tend relationships with mortals - resulting in aasimar children being born to their spouses more or less unexpectedly. Though other than angels, most aasimar have crippled or no wings at all.
