Imbued by the Ancient blue Dragon's magic and the energy of the Ley-Line running through the vulcano in which this sword was forged, it has magical properties.
The wielder of this weapon is resistant to fire and, additionally to the regular damage inflicted with attacks, can also deal lightning damage.

Manufacturing process

While it is unknown whether this weapon was forged from the canine of the Ancient blue Dragon, who battled with an Ancient Red Dragon over Aeslia's skies, it was indeed forged by fire giants, masters of blacksmithing, from an Ancient Blue Dragon's tooth.
They chose to forgo a pommel to better balance the weapon as the dragon tooth has a lower density than iron. Combined with the adamantine, which is lighter than steel, they have created a lightweight weapon. What it lacks in punch due to the reduced weight, it more than makes up in its sharpness and magical properties.

Our forgemaster truly outdid themselves with the Fang of Fury. It almost was like they had been possessed by Neneyar and were compelled to create this masterpiece. They worked day and night for a tenday straight, scarcely stopping to take tap a sip of water. And at the dawn of the eleventh day, they had created shortsword like none you have ever seen before. It weighs neary a thing, feels well-balanced and is so sharp, you could cut through stone with it. When our general gave it a few test swings, streaks of lightning followed in the blade's wake. I almost pity the foe who has to face the wearer of this blade.
