At his audience, he was sentenced to seven years in prison by Lord Evgeny ir'Caspar, but was given the option of enlisting in the military for a five-year contract instead of imprisonment, after which his criminal record would be expunged. Zigz accepted the lord's offer and was transported to Fort Zombie for basic training.
