Personal history

The first five years of Tuck’s life were spent in an indescribable magic euphoria, as many children of the fey wild rarely experience pain or worry early in life. One day while frolicking blissfully in a wispmeadow, young Tuck (5yo) fell through a gap in reality— right into the workshop of Zil Gnomes. I was assigned under the Korranberg Librarian, who pitied my circumstance. No doubt, she claimed, a hole in reality was ripped as a consequence of the “unpleasantness to the North”. Of course, I didn’t speak Gnomish back then so the early years were marked by confusion.
Too young to participate in any form of combat, I was hidden in Eastern Zilargo, taught to speak Gnome, and forced to copy endangered text and forge ancient works for the sake of the Library. I quickly became a sponge for knowledge, soaking up all there is to know about the History of Eberron,. I taught myself to fight like the ancient giants, ready to jump into the War with nothing but my handmade whip. However as a non-magic user, I was severely underprepared for the terrible war. Knowing this, my guardians allowed me to serve out my 4 year term as a Junior Archivist in Kjrranberg. Margrave University.
By my 20th birthday, I began working as a part-time arcanographer, deciphering and reproducing magical texts for the war-effort. The rest of my time I spent among the towers of Sharn, studying basic enchantment magic at Margrave University. This is when I first became interested in Xen'drik and the Giants. On my days off, my buddies and I 'clean up' after Truth raids; any tech that isn't confiscated is fair game.
When the war ended, everyone was in shock. That is, everyone except the Gnomes of Zilargo, who celebrated the end of the calamity. The peace doctrines were finalized, which widened Truth jurisdiction.

I work under the watchful eye of Phiniana Senser, the Keeper of Books and Master Librarian of the Korranberg Library. She is a 107 year old gnome artificer, and the youngest Keeper since the founding of the Library. Every citizen of Korranberg is expected to dedicate 4 years in service to the Library. My annex focuses on the identification and reproduction of arcane blueprints.
