Before the Daughters intruded upon this continent, Droaam was a land of disorganized monsters and brutality. When the three hags appeared, they transformed the nation into a land of organized monsters and brutality. They are beings of immense power, since they managed to overthrow any primitive hierarchy Droaam once had and unite the realms' warlords under their banner. No one knows their true agenda, but thus far it has been merely to conquer. As for who the nominal Sora Kell is, well, no one has met the hags to ask.
