Camp Tharashk
One of the primary footholds of House Tharashk in the region. The camp serves as a prison for outlaws that the surrounding towns turn, who are then used as miners for the houses mining operations.
Demographics
The camp is run by House Tharashk half-orcs and humans, along with a handful of house wards from the Shadow Marshes. Their are also a collection of prisoners at the camp, made up of mostly humans, dwarves, and lizardfolk.
Government
The camp is run by Fisk. The half-orc Tharashk warden. He has complete control over the day to day operations of the base.
Defences
All of the Tharashk guards a well armed and battle hardened. They have quickly proven to be a dominant force in the surrounding region of the jungle. The walls that encompass the camp have four guard towers stationed around it. Making it nearly impossible to approach undetected.
Industry & Trade
The camp makes its money through mining dragonshards from the mountains it sits next to. It sells those shards to merchants from Newthrone who then sail them out throughout Khorvaire. They run their mines with prisoners that are sold to them from its neighboring settlements across Hope. It also earns money from dousing contracts that it makes with other mining companies to find deposits of shards. Lastly, their are rumors that the House has been taking specialized contracts to find hidden treasures in the mountains.
Infrastructure
The camp is surrounded by towering walls that provide an excellent defense against attacks from the jungles. The inside of the camp consists of some cabins (for prisoners and guards), a mess hall, and a gigantic manor, designed in the likeness of other great dragonmarked house's bases.
History
The camp has recently seen a tragedy. Some kind of monster was able to slip past the defenses of the camp and nearly killed all of the prisoners and guards. Many of the surviving prisoners have since escapes and are hiding from the house in the surrounding region. The camp has since closed its walls to all non house members.
