Aegis

Aegis bears the scars of many battles, and has more than a few replacement parts.
As the first Warforged to be made a Commander, Aegis is a bit of a legend among the Cyrean Warforged. He was a renowned tactician, and more than once created victories out of almost certain defeats.
After the end of the war, Aegis found himself directionless. The army no longer wanted him, and most people weren’t comfortable having a warforged around. One day, he came across a paladin and a gnome fighting off a far superior force of Orcs. Having found something that he understood all to well, Aegis joined the fray and carried the battle. Afterwards, Arthea Irvallo convinced Aegis that taking on the job of fighting evil would mean that he never lacked for direction. Inspired by Arthea’s words, Aegis swore himself to her cause right there and then.
