Canny’s rise to the top of the Callestan branch of the Daask gang left many bodies in its wake, but since he was put in charge the gang’s losses halved in their war with the Boromar Clan. 
Rather than sheer brutality, Canny prefers to control the flow of information, and make his moves when everything is in his favour. His success in Callestan merited a promotion to the leading council of Daask in Sharn.
