After 34 years as Keeper of the Flame, and 22 years as the leader of the Theocracy of Thrane, the keeper died of an unknown ailment.

Toward the end of 936, Thrane lost its controversial ruler. After a lingering ailment during which the Keeper reportedly aged prematurely, Kaith Serrain died. In a relatively brief but extraordinarily momentous reign, the Keeper gave full voice to Thrane’s territorial ambitious, wrapping them in the mantle of the religious mandate.
