The force that kept Eston in Cyran hands due to the threat of overrunning the beligered Karrnathi defences was a large one supported by soarwood supply barges, dragonhawk scouts, and a signifi cant number of arcane companies. Despite Kaius II’s recall of his armies from northern Cyre to thwart this invasion, Aundairian armies gained considerable ground.
