Mark of Warding

The Mark of Warding is used to protect people, places and things from all manner of damage or harm, with a focus on guarding locations and items from would-be thieves.

House

House Kundarak members possess the Mark of Warding, guarding not only their own belongings but also those of anyone who wants to be sure their possessions do not fall into others' hands. The Kundarak are careful businessmen but are also well-known for their honor; if you leave something in the care of House Kundarak, it stays safe. The Warding Guild also offers its services in security, keeping businesses and personal homes safe from unwanted intruders.
Unmarked members often obtain jobs as trapmakers, security consultation, and more commonly with running the massive Kundarak bank.

Abilities

If your character has a subrace with the Mark of Warding, replace the subracial traits with the following traits.
Ability Score Increase: Your Intelligence score increases by 1.
Warder's Intuition: When you make an Intelligence (Investigation) check or an ability check using thieves' tools, you can roll a d4 and add the number rolled to the ability check.
Wards and Seals: You can cast the Alarm and Mage Armor spells with this trait. Starting at 3rd level, you can also cast the Arcane Lock spell with it.
Once you cast any of these spells with this trait, you can't cast that spell with it again until you finish a long rest. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for these spells, and you don't need material components for them when you cast them with this trait.
Spells of the Mark: If you have the Spellcasting or the Pact Magic class feature, the spells on the Mark of Warding Spells table are added to the spell list of your spellcasting class. These spells are always prepared, as long as you have spells slots available in the corresponding level, and do not count against the number of spells you can prepare.   1st Level Spells: Alarm, Armor of Agathys
2nd Level Spells: Arcane Lock, Knock
3rd Level Spells: Glyph of Warding, Magic Circle
4th Level Spells: Leomund’s Secret Chest, Mordenkainen’s Faithful Hound
5th Level Spells: Antilife Shell
