Kelemvor
Kelemvor the Dwarf was a brilliant inventor who lived on Ice Shear Isle during the Age of Demons. He was known for his keen intellect and his ability to create complex and ingenious devices.
The Dunadin dwarves used Ice magic from their homeland of the Frostfell to fight back the demons living on the Island. One of Kelemvor's most famous creations was a clockwork dungeon (see also: Crypt of Kelemvor) designed to keep the frozen demons imprisoned. The dungeon was filled with intricate mechanical traps and puzzles, designed to keep the demons trapped and prevent them from escaping. After the island froze over knowledge of the clockwork dungeon got lost, until it was rediscovered years later by Bazil the Bizarre.
Kelemvor's clockwork dungeon is not without its dangers. The demons trapped within are still powerful and malevolent, and those who venture too deep into the dungeon risked being caught in the demons' icy grasp.
Though he may have been forgotten by history, Kelemvor's ingenuity and determination live on in the elaborate mechanisms he created.
