Byeshk Mountains

The Byeshk Mountains are a mountain range that marks the border between Droaam and the Eldeen Reaches. They are home to various monstrous races, of the sorts that commonly inhabit Droaam. The Byeshk Mountains are named after the abundant sources of byeshk, a purple metal that can be found here. Weapons made from byeshk are more effective against the daelkyr and related aberrations. The goblinoid Empire of Dhakaan mined byeshk from this mountain range during the daelkyr invasion of Khorvaire. The remnants of some of these mines can still be found in these mountains, where they now serve as lairs for aberrations left over from the daelkyr invasions.
