Prayer of the Pasta

Our pasta, who floats on sauce, 

Spaghetti be your name.

Thy antipasto come.

Thy fennel will be done,

In sauce as it is in sausage. 

Give us this day our daily garlic bread,

And forgive us for your calories

As we forgive those who eat pesto,

And lead us not into heartburn,

As antacids are not free.

For thine is the meatball,

And the noodle, and the sauce

Forever and ever
