Gorgonhorn occupies the last stretch of habitable land in Darguun before the blight of the Mournland swallows all light and life. The goblinoids that live within this fortified village patrol the border and watch for incursions. Once, those incursions came from Cyre or Breland. Now, the defenders of Gorgonhorn keep an eye out for monsters and worse things that often slip out of the Mournland and threaten Darguun’s northern plains.
Once a prosperous crossroads village called Taran’s Crossing before it was renamed by the goblins that raised its walls. The fort is Darguun’s first line of defense against whatever monsters might emerge from the Mournland—and the last stop for adventurers bound there. Limited goods are available here, and customers pay a 25 percent premium on supplies.
