Mayne Jhaelian

High Priest of the Undying Court, currently leading services in the temple known as the "Gate of Passage" in Shae Lias (Upper Wards, Sharn). Mayne is ancient, over 1,500 years old, and remembers the world before Galifar. His life is ruled by history, and the veneration of his ancestors, but he does not discuss the ancient history of Eberron with any lay person.
Though he is both a spiritual leader of the small Aereni population in Sharn, and an ambassador from Aerenal to the peoples of Khorvaire, one is not likely to see him too far from his meditations. His most sacred duty is the preservation of Aereni fallen, aiding them in their journey back to Aerenal to be added to the Undying Court in whatever capacity is earned by their sacrifice.

In our Story:

Mayne is the only creature in Khorvaire that may be able to save Ea (Rare's partner) from her current fate. If the elven lich believes that he owes Rare a favor, he may be willing to provide him this service in exchange.
